Unwanted Goods

Unwanted Goods may be returned within 5 days, the return carriage charge is payable at your own expense.

  • Unwanted goods must have a completed returns form including a returns number which can be obtained by completing the form below.

If you choose to return an item to us without a completed returns form and returns number you will pay a £10.00 administration fee to cover the extra work and time to process your return.

Special order items may incur additional charges.

 

Damaged or Faulty Goods

Goods that are received damaged must be reported to us within 5 days from the time of delivery.

  • Returns must be made with a completed returns form, found at the bottom of this page.

If you choose to return an item to us without a completed returns form and returns number you will pay a £10.00 administration fee to cover the extra work and time to process your return.

 

Returns Policy – Faulty Goods

We will refund the cost of the goods and the delivery charge, please contact info@mdeelectrical.co.uk to arrange for the goods to be collected. All returns are tested and if the item proves not to be faulty when tested then only the product value will be refunded. Cost of the delivery and the collection will not be refunded.

Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying MDE Electrical Supplies

For small item deliveries that arrive with carriers you must notify us of any damage within 5 days of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 5 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier.

For bulky deliveries that arrive on pallets you agree to check the goods for damage before signing the driver’s delivery note.

If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check.

Returns Policy – Changed Your Mind?

If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can inform us within 5 days of delivery that you would like to return the item for a refund.  Please ensure that returned goods reach us in good saleable condition. Only the cost of the item excluding carriage will be refunded.

Please note that if you write our address all over the product packaging then the product is no longer in saleable condition and you will not be refunded.
